The Arts Administration degree at Butler University is a well-rounded, interdisciplinary degree that prepares students to become leaders in the arts. With an emphasis on not-for-profit management, our degree is designed to provide students with a wide range of experiences that give them the tools to be successful across and beyond artistic disciplines. Students graduate from the program with more than a degree; they are equipped with internship opportunities, experiences with actual client organizations, and a wealth of knowledge from Arts Administration faculty and guest lecturers.
Support the First Annual Student Etiquette Dinner:
This spring the Department of Arts Administration is hosting its first annual Student Etiquette Dinner that will equip current Juniors and Seniors with important skills for their careers. The etiquette dinner will include a mocktail networking reception and formal dinner during which students will learn how to conduct themselves during business dinners and fundraising events.
Alumni and other friends of the department will be attending to help students practice their skills and navigate the evening. They will be provided guidance from faculty and our hostess, Bethanie Danko.
Matching Gift Challenge + Sponsor a Student:
To support the creation of this dinner, donors can sponsor a student with a donation of $100. This will cover the cost of their meal and all the additional benefits of the dinner. However, no gift is too small. All gifts will go directly to support this important experience for students.
Thanks to the generosity of anonymous alumnus, gifts to the Department of Arts Administration will be matched up to $2,500, ensuring all costs for this dinner for 40+ students are covered.
Our department is able to flourish because of your generosity.
Consider donating today and help our students thrive!
