The Jordan College of the Arts fosters an inclusive and welcoming learning community to develop students as artist-citizens through innovative arts education, professional study, and experiential learning.
Opportunities for support
JCA Dean's Priority Needs Fund Challenge
Experiential learning is one of the hallmarks of a Butler education. In the Jordan College of the Arts, everything we do is experiential from the classroom to the stage. In addition, as a standard part of collegiate arts education, performances by and master classes/workshops with internationally acclaimed artists and scholars expose students in the arts to current trends in artistic practice through the JCA Signature Series. This year, gifts to the JCA Dean’s Priority Needs Fund will be matched dollar for dollar up to $2,500 to support the Signature Series thanks to the generosity of Edward & Beth Valdettaro.
JCA Annual Scholarships
Gifts to the JCA Annual Scholarships Fund provide critical support for students pursuing a degree in the arts at Butler. This support is important not only for ensuring a Butler education is within reach for students regardless of their financial circumstances but also enables JCA to continue recruiting high caliber talent in art, arts administration, dance, music, and theatre. As one of the most externally facing colleges of the University, JCA is committed to both excellence and access in fulfilling our duty of developing students as artist-citizens.
Your support for the Jordan College of the Arts ensures that the transformative power of the arts is amplified through the enthusiastic efforts of our students. Thank you!
