Striving for the heights of Boldly Butler and building momentum for the College of Communication starts here! We continued a record run for the number of gifts in 2025—empowering our students and faculty to learn through professional and personal experiences. Thanks for your generosity and leadership as part of another great Day of Giving in 2026.
Here is a sampling of ways your gifts impacted CCOM in 2025. #TheButlerWay
- SLHS majors provided free speech, language, and hearing screenings for 55 students at the International School of Indiana (February 2025)
- 12 sports media students traveled to New York City for a BIG EAST Career Fair over spring break (March 2025)
- 13 students took advantage of a three-day immersive strategic communication “Denver Trek” with visits to advertising agencies, city and state government bodies, and tourism and hospitality stops—including a behind-the-scenes tour of Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
- Students working for Butler Sports Live produced nearly 40 live sporting events, including many for ESPN+ in 2025, including Football, Men’s and Women’s Soccer, Volleyball, Women’s Basketball, Baseball, Softball, and Lacrosse.
- Provided additional support for five fountains, the student-run strategic communication agency, earning real-world experience with for-profit and non-profit companies in and around Indianapolis.
- Dean’s Summer Fellowship research projects for students led by CCOM faculty.
Your engagement and commitment to our students—our future—empowers us to not only be the home of “Where Great Stories Begin” but where they continue! Our students succeed in the classroom and beyond because of your support. #GoDawgs!
