Here in the Division of Student Affairs, we support students from the moment they arrive on campus to the day they graduate. We believe in building a culture of innovation, equity, and operational excellence that fully supports the holistic well-being of our students.
BU|BeWell is just one of the many ways we support students throughout their academic careers. We empower learners to embrace and value difference, take responsibility for their own paths, grow as individuals, and productively contribute to their communities. Through BU|BeWell, we help students become the best version of themselves.
In Student Affairs, we are committed to:
Featured Initiatives:
Student Mental Health Fund
Mental health directly impacts students' overall well-being and their ability to learn and be successful. Help to support continued education and programs, special initiatives, and direct services which support the ongoing mental health needs of our students at Butler University. Gifts made to the Fund to Support Student Mental Health during Day of Giving will be matched up to $10,000 to increase support of student mental health initiatives.
Family Council
Join the Butler Family Council in supporting students and their needs! The Family Council is passionate about Butler and the positive, lasting impact the University, its faculty, and staff have on BU students. Participating in the Family Council Challenge unlocks a dollar-for-dollar match up to $2,500 sponsored by council members David (MS ‘03) and Jamie Fryrear.
This challenge welcomes everyone who feels connected to the Butler Family to contribute to this Day of Giving initiative. All funds raised for the Family Council Challenge will go to the Office of Student Affairs and be allocated to programs and activities that directly support the experience of current and future Bulldogs.
