CCOM Participation Challenge
The Butler University College of Communication Dean’s Advisory Board has issued a historic challenge to CCOM students, alumni, families and friends! If CCOM receives 300 gifts on Day of Giving, $15,000 in support for the college and its programs will be unlocked! This is the largest challenge in the history of CCOM, and will go towards enhancing the student and faculty experience in CCOM. Any gift to any fund in CCOM will count towards meeting this challenge.
CCOM Experiential Learning Challenge
This year, three long-serving members of the Butler University College of Communication faculty will be retiring: Dr. Rose Campbell (26 years), Professor Scott Bridge (27 years), Dr. Christine Taylor (33 years). In celebration of their collective impact in CCOM, consider making a gift to the CCOM Experiential Learning Fund! Dr. Campbell helped start the CCOM Experiential Learning Fund to provide financial support for students who otherwise could not participate in experiential opportunities in CCOM. 50 gifts to the experiential learning fund unlocks $5,000 in additional support.
Speech & Debate Challenge
Support competitive public speaking at Butler on Day of Giving! Butler’s intercollegiate Speech and Debate Team competes annually at regional and national tournaments and have finished among the top ten forensics programs in the nation. Gifts to the Speech and Debate Team Challenge will support individual events entries, debate entries and team travel to competitions like the national tournament in Phoenix, AZ. Gifts will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $2,150.
