Butler University’s College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences (COPHS) strives to build a community of next generation healthcare leaders to overcome tomorrow’s challenges. Every day, 10,000 Baby Boomers become eligible for Medicare, and demand for healthcare professionals is outpacing the pipeline. Our proven track record for innovation and producing first-choice graduates makes us uniquely positioned to respond to these demands.
We are reinvesting in our Pharmacy, Physician Assistant (PA), and Health Sciences programs and strategically growing our academic portfolio with two new offerings in fall 2025: a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Many of the new programs we are exploring will focus on upskilling and advancing careers with a wider scope of healthcare partners. The emphasis is on intergenerational and interprofessional training, embracing new learning technologies in virtual and augmented realities, high-fidelity simulations, and artificial intelligence.
We aim to deepen engagement with local communities, preparing students to address both patient care and social determinants of health, enabling them to provide better care and enrich the communities they serve. Faculty, staff, researchers, career mentors, community partners, and you as donors provide the critical and holistic support our students need to thrive in the classroom and create a positive impact beyond. On this Day of Giving 2025, we invite you to join us in our bold endeavors for today and the future!
