You can still make an impact on Butler students!
Jordan College of the Arts

The Jordan College of the Arts fosters an inclusive and welcoming learning community to develop students as artist-citizens through innovative arts education, professional study, and experiential learning.

Opportunities for support

The Dean's Fund To Support Experiential Learning Opportunities
Providing an environment that fosters experiential learning is one of Butler’s priorities. In the Jordan College of the Arts, everything we do is experiential, from our dancers performing The Nutcracker on stage at Clowes Memorial Hall for 10,000 audience members, to the 65-piece Butler Symphony Orchestra simultaneously performing Tchaikovsky’s magical music from the orchestra pit. Yet our students routinely face additional costs including unpaid or underpaid internships (e.g., housing, travel); travel to auditions, conferences, workshops, or museum visits; and income replacement for student teachers.

JCA Annual Scholarships
The Jordan College of the Arts is one of the most externally facing divisions of the University. Our arts students have always been generously supported by the institution, which recognizes and respects the role that JCA plays, including how the arts contribute to the University’s “brand.” To that end, the importance of student scholarships to support the financial health of the institution has never been more critical. JCA Annual Scholarships directly support students in art, arts administration, dance, music, and theatre and will help to ensure that we can continue to attract and retain the caliber of student that has elevated the reputation of the Jordan College of Arts and, by extension, the entire University.

Your support for the Jordan College of the Arts ensures that the transformative power of the arts is amplified through the enthusiastic efforts of our students. Thank you!
